Install instructions

INSTALL WILDRAFT

Choose your platform, download the demo, and begin your journey into the unknown.

🪟 WINDOWS

  1. Download WILDRAFT-Windows-x86_64.zip from the Download section.
  2. Right-click the ZIP file and select Extract All.
  3. Open the extracted WILDRAFT folder.
  4. Run veloren-voxygen.exe to launch the game.
  5. Keep all files and folders together. Do not move the executable on its own.

No separate installer is required. Windows 64-bit build.

🐧 LINUX

  1. Download WILDRAFT-Linux-x86_64.tar.gz.zip.
  2. Extract the downloaded archive. If necessary, extract the resulting TAR.GZ archive too.
  3. Open the extracted game folder.
  4. Launch the game using the included executable or the launch script provided in the folder.
  5. If required, grant execute permission to the launch file and install any missing system dependencies.

Linux x86_64 build. The exact launch file may depend on the package contents.

🍎 macOS

  1. Download WILDRAFT-macOS-aarch64.tar.gz.zip.
  2. Extract the ZIP archive. If necessary, extract the resulting TAR.GZ archive too.
  3. Open the extracted game folder and locate the included game executable.
  4. Launch it using the method provided with the build.
  5. If macOS blocks the application, check the security warning before deciding whether to allow it to run.

Apple Silicon (ARM64) build. Compatibility may vary by macOS version.
